Well, as I sit here holed-up in an Army Lodge Hotel in Mannheim, Germany, I would say no again. But, its only day one right? I haven't had great sleep; we don't get to move into our really amazing house that sits atop of a small village overlooking miles and miles of vineyards as well as various cities in the distance; I am still living out of my suitcases and I have only had ONE half pint of weissbier thus far. So, I am sure (hoping) my attitude will change quickly. Until then, I will remind myself that we are here for our boys who need their Daddy (and doggy too) and their family to be in one place no matter where that may be.
Here are a few pictures from our arrival in Deutschland and some of the adventures of our first day. Mike was able to get us to walk from his home to the Hauptstrasse in Heidelberg for our dinner and my long awaited weissbier. We finished the evening with a stroll down to the end of the Hauptstrasse to see the castle and enjoy a little eis to top of a very long day.....(oh, yeah, and I had Starbucks)
Enjoy the pictures and I promise the writing and attitude will be more pleasurable to read as the jet lag wears off and the weissbier takes over...

Until next time......
Hang in there, you just made a huge change. The opportunity is awesome and after a while you'll adjust. Think positive, you can do it.
